Guest Post: Stella and Dot
Today I wanted to do something a little bit different, and feature one of my dearest friends! Katie and I have been through college, weddings, and young adulthood together, and I am so proud of her and her business. Stella and Dot is a jewelry and fashion boutique with consultants, such as Katie, to help you style everything. I love going to her for accessory advice, and she always picks out the best pieces. Here she is, and a link to her page so you can shop from her directly!
Hey everyone! My name is Katie, and I am so excited to be on Jessica's blog today! Jess and I met in college where we were in the same major, and after graduating several years ago, I packed up everything and moved to Louisville for my job as a food scientist. My husband and I love to watch the latest movies, try new restaurants, and spoil our sweet fur baby, Parker.
Now on to the fun stuff! Stella & Dot has been such a blessing for me! Several years ago, I realized that while I love my day to day lab job, I wanted to find something that let me express my creative and sparkly side. I found that Stella & Dot was the perfect way for me to have a fun and fashionable creative outlet. The best part is that Stella & Dot has many Small Finds for Christmas and holiday gifts for family and friends!
Every lady needs a good pair of studs, and the Sparkle Studs are a great pick for teacher gifts (or gifts for yourself!). At $19, they look like 1.5 carat diamond earrings without the price tag. Available in silver, gold, and smokey options, any color is a perfect finishing piece for statement necklaces being worn at holiday parties!
For something in the $50 range, I am loving our new Charlotte Pendant Set. At $59, you get coordinating earrings and a delicate necklace that are absolutely gorgeous - whether you get them in navy (my personal pick), neutral, or lilac. I also recommend any of our engravable necklaces! Depending on the style, you can choose from one initial, a monogram, dates, one word, or even a short phrase to make a perfectly unique and thoughtful piece to gift.
For gifts in the $100-$150 range, I have two favorites, and I love both so much, it's like asking me to pick my favorite child! The first is the Sutton Necklace, available in three colorways - mixed metal (my personal fave), silver, and gold. It's a versatile piece with 5 looks in one, so it definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. My other favorite piece is the Getaway Bag. It's a fantastic travel bag that follows TSA sizing rules and is easy to clean, making it an ideal travel and beach bag. There are several fun prints to choose from, so you're sure to find the perfect gifting option!
As we stylists say -- if you find an item or two you love, check out the e-boutique to order by heading on over to my website:
. If you see several pieces you love, send me a message through my website to schedule a girls night where you can earn jewels and bags for free. If you realize you're like me and love every item you see, message me through my website to find out how to join my team! I'd love to have you aboard!
Hope you guys enjoyed getting to hear from Katie! Doesn't she have the best advice, you love having her help you pick out some new favorites. Plus, there are some great small finds to finish up your Christmas shopping!
