Friday Finds: Black Friday
Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope everyone had a wonderful day spent with loved ones! We hosted our first holiday, and could not be happier with how it turned out. I had so much fun prepping and cooking our meal, and loved the excuse for decorating the apartment. Tis the season to be thankful, and I couldn't be more thankful for those I've spent the past year with :) Each Friday I will post my favorite finds for the week, and this week covers some Black Friday Deals! Let me first say that I do not partake in this particular holiday tradition. But I might take advantage of an online deal here and there. I also encourage you to support the small businesses on Saturday in your hometown for great ideas. Here are some gift ideas that you might be able to take advantage for the beginning of the season:
Fleece Pullover, JCrew Factory
I just recently got this pullover, and have loved this new staple to my wardrobe. It's the perfect oversize fit that doesn't look boxy. You can stick with your regular size when sizing and pair with leggings/boots for a comfy winter look. For the weekend, JCrew Factory has 50% off.
2. Toms Booties, Toms
I love my wedge booties, however, sometimes you just need a flat one. And Toms now has them! These will look great for those weekends spent decorating, or for a casual work Christmas dinner. Toms has 25% through the weekend with the promo code, thankful.
3. Silicone Rings, Amazon
I will admit that I did not think I would wear these when Phil got a set for me, and a more "manly" set for himself. However, these have been great for when wearing your rings are "at risk". So far they have been great for the gym, cleaning around the house, and most recently, getting the food ready for Thanksgiving. Amazon doesn't have a specific Black Friday deal for these, but they are very inexpensive with multiple rings in a pack.
4. The Simplified Life Book, Emily Ley
I was just talking with a friend the other day about how excited I am to get this book on Saturday! I listened to a podcast on Wednesday where Emily Ley was interviewed, and she really breaks down how to simplify things while enjoying life. This is a perfect gift for a friend or sister, and the link to her website has all the deals for the best price.
These are just a few favorites I have found while browsing the web this week, and most of these deals will last through the weekend. I don't encourage the 6 am lines, I enjoy being lazy on this Friday. But if your tired of the football games or everyone else is taking a nap, you can take a sneak peak at these deals online.
I am very much looking forward to this weekend! We are so excited because our best friends are back on the east coast! Saturday will be spent catching up and cheering on our favorite college teams for the big rival game. Hope everyone is slowly coming out of their food comas, and enjoying this special time with friends and family.
Have a wonderful weekend!
